WHO WE ARE

Born & raised in beautiful Miami, Florida, designer Sophia Lima spends summers by the shore. With the ocean as her backyard, her daily uniform is swimwear, so she knows that a girl's swim collection says a lot about her. Fueled by passion & creativity, she set out on a venture to create sustainable swimwear that screams bold, elegant, and unique & is flattering on different body types. In 2018, Heart of Sun was born, & Sophia vowed to put tons of love into every design & help make girls feel and look like the bombshells they are. 

At Heart of Sun, we express power, freedom, confidence, love, and unwavering unity. Our designs are for the fearless babes whose hearts shine brighter than the sun. Our hand-made pieces are luxurious, classy, and versatile. Whether you're sunbathing by the ocean, going out with friends, or dancing at a music festival, Heart of Sun has a perfectly made design for the occasion. Our vintage-inspired pieces will have you reminiscing on iconic past eras. We design all of our swimwear & beachwear with your body in mind. We strive to create pieces that are flattering on all body types. We offer a variety of styles and sizes so that you can find the perfect fit for your shape and personal style. Our team prioritizes paying close attention to detail and crafting the perfect fit so that you can look and feel like the ultimate #HOSBABE.

Mother Earth always comes first! We value sustainability & are committed to using ethical & sustainable practices, never mass-producing. Our goal is to minimize waste, so our pieces are made from start to finish in our Miami design house. We also have limited collections made using a material called lycra made of recycled plastic water bottles, & our goal is to design more collections made up of 100% sustainable fabrics. Our team is determined to continue to do whatever we can to reduce our carbon footprint.
